I suspected that you were not part of the peristaltic diatribe Tribe. I do suggest the following though, and I am on record here during the these events.... When the stock was trading millions and millions of shares in the mid forties....there was an unyielding mountain of iceberg selling.This phenomenon was "self-evident" leading up to the announcement of two PPs but even more predominant leading up to the advent of news. The only ones not selling were the longs...after all their sustenance is news adding exponential value to the long story....daytraders tend to call them suckers. In this case when you couple the DeBeers factor along with Mineral Fields,one would have to give the longs the benefit of the doubt that certainly good news was coming....especially since Mineral Fields stepped up at the 11th hour with a PP investment....and yet millions were selling before the news (ICEBERG SELLING)...what great fortune for them,as the news turned out to be no news at all...a "caustic" ending to an unbelievable momentous intensity..NEWS>>>NEWS>>NEWS!! Perhaps it was just a bunch of sellers who bought in at $.20 who can say for sure...when you fall in love with the story.....bend over!
