Just Spoke to FWR on current Drilling at McFaulds...

By John dafar on da ohter forum:

I had a nice discussion with FWR for about 30 miins...here is the "gist" of our discussion...

He was exited about the progress, and it truns out that they are now drilling hole #3 , still within the same area which is the anomaly drilled in 2006 wherein the Chromite, PGEs and NiCu were found....They got a little bit behind because of wheather/equipment/water issues....being so cold up there,  water freezes....some of the same issues that NOT seems to be facing in the very ruff and ruged terrain of McFaulds...

It terms of any other News, it was not up to him to release any such news...it was up to SPQ who is the operator to release news.....

He described a complex Geology, with updated testing on rock types and structures...It turns out that the mafic strctures widen considerably at depth, which good news...also some of the previously thought mafic volcanics, have been reclassified as pyroxinites, a far better host for PGEs deposits similar to that in the Bushveld in S.A.

One of the great difficulties encountered will be that in nearly 1/2 the cases of PGES deposits,is  there are very little or NO sulfides to see...In many authoritative books by experts like Dr. Naldrett, Prof Mungall etc, it is clearly noted that there are 2 types of PGES deposits...One with sulfides, and the other type with very little or NO sulfides...SO i shouldn't expect many visuals, since they just won't know until the assays come back from the lab...But from the rock types and content, it was acontinuation of said 2006 "hit"..

He was very happy with the work so far and expects it to continue for months, possiblt in other Anomalies dependiing on what is "HIT"...but  he did suggest that some of these layers of mineralization wind, curve, dip etc...etc...and it was a questiion of tracing their path/pattern...I believe similar to what NOT had to do...and that they are cooperating and learniing from NOT's  drilling..

we also discussed Windfall...he was positive and exited about it....and did not rule out any JV. or even eventual spin off...everything is under consideration was his quote...good luck to all...

Office Conversation from the NOT forum (reference to Neil Novak)

by coolo

Good morning folks:

As we all know Mr. Novak is CEO of SPQ but he is also the chief geo for NOT.  If Neil is up in the McFaulds area you can bet he's checking out the drill targets for SPQ and NOT.

If a NR does come out from NOT and it is good news (i.e. DE 3, assays etc.) we can expect all area plays to go up.

O.k. I had the pleasure of talking with Denise at the office.  She is a wonderful person and incredibly easy to get along with.  The conversation was pretty short as there was no one else to talk with.  Here is the meat and potatoes of it:

1. Do you expect we will see a news release soon?

Yes, I think we will see news shortly, that much I can tell you.

2. How is the drilling going at this point?

Things are going good and they have 3 drills on site right now.  Vivianne is working hard now and Bobby is on the way in a week or so.

3. Is Neil Novak up at McFaulds?

Yes, Neil is up there.

4. Why did Neil go up there, was it last minute?

No, this was a planned trip with a number of geos.

5. Why is he up there?

She wasn't exactly sure as to his reasons for being up there.

So, in closing, there wasn't a ton of information transferred but I got what I wanted, NR soon!!!  I would imagine we will be seeing some panic buying throughout the day, make them pay!

Good luck all,

d12
