Its wireline products and services comprise data (including Internet access, Internet protocol television (IPTV), cloud-based services and business solutions), voice, and other communication services and products, which are available to its residential, small and medium-sized businesses and large enterprises customers primarily in Ontario, Quebec, the Atlantic provinces and Manitoba. This segment includes its wholesale business, which buys and sells local telephone, long-distance, data, and other services from or to resellers and other carriers.

You, me and all other Canadians better hope that we keep as many of these blue collar, largely unionized, above average paying jobs, as we can, because these are the folks who are the middle class and pay the majority of the taxes that help support the good quality of life that you now enjoy.

The currently high $CDN is killing the manufacturing sector in Ontario and Quebec, GM wants to pay off workers and hire news ones at half the wage, etc. If you don't think that there will be a huge trickle down to the lifestyle that you now enjoy, you need to get a reality check.

If you think that people can live on low wages such as the service sector or retail sector now pays, you are living in la-la land.
