BELLAMONT EXPLORATION LTD. CLOSES ASSET ACQUISITION

Bellamont Exploration Ltd. has closed the acquisition of certain oil andnatural gas assets reported in Stockwatch news dated May 6, 2008.

Bellamont has increased its credit facility with a major Canadian charteredbank to $6.0-million and is currently reviewing its credit facility with theaddition of the assets.
