and picked up a few shares. From what I have been able to determine, I think Empire is very close to bottoming out.
I like the upside potential of the combined companies having the ability to bid on larger projects, their diversity of product lines and the need for North America to spend $ on repairing/upgrading infrastructure . 
The downside risk is that you're dealing with regional and federal governments and they are so slow in getting projects off the drawing board.
