Did your broker get stoned?OK, this article may not have anything to do with TCM, but after a day like today, one must try to keep a sense of humor:
Pakistan’s Karachi Exchange stoned after worst losing streak in 18 years.
Bloomberg reports rioters pelleted rocks at the Karachi exchange in Pakistan after the Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index recorded its 15th straight day of losses. Investors were upset at the government and the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan for repealing a 1% daily decline limit and easing restrictions on short selling in an effort to bolster trading volumes. The index has lost 35% of its value since hitting a record high of 15,676.34 on April 18, Bloomberg notes. Kauser Javed, head of the Small Investor Association said, “We demand that all stock prices be frozen at current levels.”
