RE: WHY?JP,
Slight error on the "90 day" evaluation. The 8K does not specific the length of the evaluation period - just a contractual arrangement licensing. Here is brief summary of the 8K:
1) 90 days for the evaluating company to get off the pot and "execute a Letter of Intent to exclusivelylicense REGI’s Rotary Engine IP".
2) 365 days for the evaluating company to get off the pot and "execute a Letter of Intent to exclusivelylicense REGI’s Rotary Engine IP".
I would suspect the evaluation period has a time line. REG can't wait for ever for the evaluation company to make a move.
Should the evaluating company go with option 1, I would suspect REG/REGI will be bought out. Why just take the engine when you can have the whole pump/condenser business of $52B per annum. Also, don't most vehicles (cars, trucks, planes, ) need pumps for power steering, fuel injection, oil ... Just doesn't make sense to just take the motor IP technology unless your in a narrow market.
The evaluation of the RADMAX technology will determine the success or failure of this company. I hear rumors of other design developments in parallel with the evaluation. This will put pressure on the evaluation company to make a move if they want to steal market share and control the availability of the technology.
