why on earth would you, SRM or SAM (or Eric, John or Fred for that matter) put new, good money into mines that:

1. are not being run well

2. fully

3. cheaply (enough) (yet)

4. in dodgy countries

in a company that has:

1. no proper management anymore

2. demonstrated little operating experience

3. BoD in disarray

4. Foul of the Banks; and

5. Oh. the're BROKE.

No.

Wait for the death spiral to complete. Debt boys will divvy out the assets. Equity holders get nothing.
