The principals of free speech . . .
The principals of free speech . . .were intended to allow for rational open and honest discussion/debate.
How else can a free society stay free?
Free speech, Lightweight, was intended to allow honourable people to speak there minds without fear of reprisal. Free speech was intended to facilitate people stating their point of view in public and for the speaker to have to stand by what they say and be seen.
But free speech does not extend to the point of spreading slanderous untruths about someone while hiding behind the AN0NYMITY that a site such as Stockhouse so graciously offers you lads Lightweight.
The principals of free speech were established long before people could come on to a Stockhouse website and ANONYM0USLY slag real people while keeping their own identification secret.
You and "da boyz" come on to this site, slag real people with real lives Lightweight, and hide behind a Mama Stockhouses skirts. Free speech wasn't intended to create cowards. And then you feign injury when someone attacks your "alias."
Isn't it interesting how the word "alias" fits so well in this debate Lightweight? Considering the root history of the word?
Perhaps the courts have yet to clearly identify what is legal and what is illegal when it comes to cyberspace Lightweight.
Perhaps all it will take is for someone to have had enough and have the gonads to deal with it.
Then we'll see the rats scurry!
