If a gold mine is developing and nobody hears of iGood comments, gents - thanks. I liked the Banro precedent. Either we are deluded, or we are ahead of the curve. While I suspect the latter, and have put my money where my mouth is, only time will tell. I do not like delays - of any sort. I think putting a time-frame on corporate developments demands that these develops hold to the time-line. Anything less is a momentum-killer. I'm no mo-mo player, as jmlguy will attest (we go way back to hurling mangoes and limes at the campesinos at Tambo Grande - only later did were learn that 'Tambo Grande' means 'Big SNAFU' in Spanish, so we got the heck out of there, and found ourselves here) but I think my impatience and low tolerance for delay is warranted. This play is not out of the cauldron and into the fire, though - at least, not yet.
I've made mention of MNR to several friends, and to 'nopoo', a fellow who runs a private board (aheadoftheherd.com).
But we're just one of a panoply of prospective juniors, all of whom protesteth too much. While I respect Mr. Guest for not promoting too soon, and for giving us the opportunity to back the turnip-truck up, I suppose, it's hard to wait (and wait) for delayed results (from 43-101, and from the Cengiz guys). I like to think that MNR/Cengiz, a la Banro, would look for the 'high-grade' stuff to mine first, in order to pay off the CAPEX in three years. And, like Banro, MNR will continue to explore and extend the resource (Celtik). MNR hasn't had the exuberant 'over-reaction' in its s/p that Banro had (as mackvorkian mentions). It wouldn't hurt us a bit if they do eventually (great exit-point!), particulary if Dr. Guest and Doug Hickey have the savvy, wherewithal and dumb good luck to be able to really promote this thing just before the PDAC.
Timing is everything, I suppose Let's hope we have Guest right. regards, phil
