YR1 - Social unrest is quite possible...as this economic monster continues to spin out of control.

*Major street-level protests in the modern and up-to-date western countries of Ireland and Iceland, recently.
*Spain, another of the above countries, currently has 15% unemployment.
*Food riots in two of the French controlled Caribbean islands.

Garth Turner, said a few weeks ago, here in Victoria, at the Money Expo put on by HoweStreet.com at the Convention Centre, that class warfare will not be out of the norm as this economic deleveraging continues. And, it won't just be, as in the past, in third or second world countries.

Think back, say, ten-years ago, to the federal Liberal government's beginning of the registration of firearms. This was, pushed by the USA, as they knew that some serious social upheaval was coming, down the road.

What's that popular phrase I am hearing, today - Guns and Whisky!
