I would take that what is said in the first part by Mr. Denyes is that the trials will last for MONTHS and that they hope to "bear fruit" THIS YEAR - for orders that would most likely mainly commence next year. The orders could (and likely would) be placed well in advance of next spring when they would be needed (to commence) for shipping.
