L10 drill hole from 2007I've heard about that news release and how some people thought it was miss leading, but from the statement right after the L-10 results it seemed to clarify what they thought had happened. There was also a diagram issued right after the results were released.

Mr. David Hall reports
GOLDQUEST INTERCEPTS 142 METERS GRADING 2.59%CU, 1.91% ZN AND 2.50 G/T AU AT LAS ANIMAS
Goldquest Mining Corp. is releasing the results of the first four drillholes from its phase II diamond drill program on its 100-per-cent-ownedLas Animas project in the Dominican Republic.
The 2,000-metre program is currently drilling targets along thestrike of the previously drilled massive sulphide horizon (see news inStockwatch on Dec. 11, 2006, and Feb. 5, 2007) and testing additionalzones, including new gossan discoveries, soil geochemical anomalies andgeophysical targets. Results for the first four drill holes (LA-07 toLA-10), totalling 671.91 metres, have been received. Highlights are asfollows:
- Massive sulphide and stockwork intersection of 142 metres of 2.59 per cent Cu, 1.91 per cent Zn and 2.50 grams per tonne Au;
- Drilling extends massive sulphide to over 275 metres below surface;
- Mineralization thickened due to folding;
- Mineralization still open at depth and to west.
Drill hole LA-10 was drilled 56 metres north of LA-06 on the samegeological cross-section with an azimuth of 180 degrees and aninclination of minus 60 degrees in order to test the continuity ofsulphides at depth below the gossan intercepted in hole LA-06.
The hole intersected massive sulphides consisting ofchalcopyrite, sphalerite and pyrite vertically below the gossan ofLA-06. The hole then continued in massive sulphides and sulphide-richsericite schist to a depth of 304 metres, giving an intersection of140.98 metres width to a vertical depth of 275 metres below surface.
The massive sulphide and stockwork interval returned 142 mgrading 2.50 g/t Au, 36.58 g/t Ag, 2.59 per cent Cu and 1.91 per centZn from 162 m to 304 m, including 14.56 m grading 4.20 g/t Au, 85.99g/t Ag, 3.13 per cent Cu and 3.29 per cent Zn from 163.02 m to 177.58m,and 105.98 m grading 2.72 g/t Au, 36.75 g/t Ag, 2.29 per cent Cu and2.09 per cent Zn from 198.02 m to 304 m.
This drill intercept can be explained by folding and structuralthickening of the massive sulphide layer in an asymmetric s-shaped fold(looking east), with a near-vertical body on the upper and lower foldlimbs, and an intermediate limb with a similar dip as the drill hole.The remainder of the hole was in pyritic sericite schist to the finaldepth of 330.79 metres. The company wishes to emphasize that the actualgeometry of the massive sulphide body will not be defined until furtherdrilling has been undertaken. A perpendicular scissor hole will becompleted on the same section (drilled to the north) as drill holeLA-10 to clarify the true thickness of this new massive sulphide zonediscovered at depth.
Hole LA-07 was drilled 45 metres east of holes LA-01 and 02 andintercepted a thin horizon of gossan at the sediment-volcanic contact.The gossan returned 0.51 m grading 2.62 g/t Au from 46.05 m and thefootwall volcanics returned 23.44 m grading 0.36 g/t Au from 46.56 m,including 10 m at 0.55 g/t Au from 56 m.
Hole LA-08 was a short 55.81-metre hole drilled to the south onthe same section as holes LA-01, 02, 03, 04 and 05. The holeintercepted sanded barite gossan, gossanous sediments and sericiteschist at the sediment-volcanic contact that returned 16 m grading 3.01g/t Au and 19.08 g/t Ag in oxide from surface, including 2.81 m grading12.24 g/t Au and 35.57 g/t Ag in gossan from 12.19 m. Base metals havebeen leached from this interval. The rest of the hole is in pyriticsericite schist and gave 0.28 g/t Au and 3.53 g/t Ag over 39.81 m from16 m, including a semi-massive sulphide intersection of 4.44 m grading0.63 g/t Au and 6.06 g/t Ag from 36.26 m.
Hole LA-09 was drilled to test a conductive geophysical targetlocated 80 metres southeast of holes LA-05 and interceptedsericite-pyrite-altered rhyolite volcanic rocks with a maximum value of0.63 g/t Au.
Drilling is continuing and will test a number of other targetsincluding the new gossans discovered approximately 450 metres alongstrike to the west that returned 21.30 g/t and 9.17 g/t gold (see newsin Stockwatch on May 8, 2007), geophysical, geochemical targets andstep-out holes from hole LA-10.
Results from the continuing drilling will be released as soon as theyare received. Further information including updated maps andcross-sections will be posted on the Goldquest website shortly.

drill intersection widths and that there is still insufficient data to calculate
true widths of the massive sulphide body. In the case of core duplicates and repeat
analyses, the average value has been used.
