RE: Risk to Reward Ratio
RE: Risk to Reward RatioNice long note Mack.
I would like to point out that we are likely still in a deflationary macro environment eventhough it feels like that is over to an extent.
We have a short run rally, and what you can notice is that most commodities, currencies and equities related to U.S. markets are running in sync.
Example:
SPX, crude, euro and CAD versus USD, gold, silver et al.
This is a direct sign that it is a reflationary effect not driven by demand in any one thing but rather just a reflation of assets from the 13 Trillion pumped into the system. It's a false wealth creation.
So as a result gold is running with everything else just as silver has.
in the next year more ARM U.S. mortgages will be rolling over. This will create more pressure.
Either the reflation will be inflationary in the short run creating a manic gold run or we will have to have a systemic risk issue in the financial system to drive it.
Which will it be?
This is the real question.
In the meantime enjoy the run. As long as the reflation lasts, the Dow/SPX will rise, crude will move up (prob only to around the 75 USD point) and gold will run with it.
Get the deal and the plant up and running because regardless of gold reaching a manic phase running to 1500, 2000, 3000 etc., every manic phase results in a large drop after just as crude oil ran and dropped, so having a plant in place willl allow MNR to fund the big drilling and mine from cashflow, or get taken out in the process.
Go MNR.
Go MNR.
