I think you got it wrong ... with so much money being pumped into the economies, low interest rates, choking off supply (oil/gas + other commodities cutting back on exploration and output), weakness in the U.S. dollar and commodities tied to the U.S. dollar ... IMO, there will be severe inflation and a resulting spike in commodities ... its just a matter of time ... if and when UNX/ENG announce their 1711 find/re-drill ... IMO likely this fall ... we are looking a a nice spike in s/p ... possibly sooner then the potential announcement, if any ...  You also have to consider the choking off of supply with the inevitable picking up of the U.S./China/India/ Brazil etc. ... As well, Obama's carbon tax and other factors will see huge inflation ... is my guess ..

Either way, inflation or deflation, I think we are in agreement that UNX/ENG will do well ... patience is key!
