Taylor says buy Premium Exploration

2009-07-08 21:03 ET - In the News

Jay Taylor in the June 19, 2009, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks tells readers to buy Premium Exploration Inc., recently 23 cents. Mr. Taylor said buy on July 15, 2008, at 27 cents. He said sell on Oct. 16, 2008, at 18.5 cents. A $1,000 investment at 27 cents, sold at 18.5 cents, would have yielded a loss of $334. Premium holds the Petsite/Friday project in Idaho, which hosts an inferred resource of 531,890 ounces of gold. Mr. Taylor says a limited amount of further drilling should be enough to move those ounces into the measured and indicated category. Premium also holds the Buffalo Gulch project in Idaho, which hosts a non-compliant resource of 100,000 ounces of gold. The company's management hopes to move the project into production as early as 2010 at roughly 25,000 to 35,000 ounces of gold per year. Mr. Taylor says he sold Premium last year because he did not think Premium could get the financing it needed to move its projects into production. He notes gold mining economics and the price of gold have improved since last year's credit seize-up. This should allow companies like Premium to survive and ultimately thrive. The newsletter writer expects this stock to double before the end of the year.
