If I were Goldfields...

If I were Goldfields...Mooneyes suggests some interesting outcomes of the GQC/GFI negotiations, and I sense that we are perhaps days away from a big re-valuation of GQC. But for GFI there may be an easier way to get the goods in DM. Why take Toral when they have no other Spanish interests? It would be simpler to purchase GQC's assetts in the DM for cash and/or stock and leave Toral to GQC. That way they don't have the hassle of taking over an entire company - it is much simpler to buy properties. If this scenario materialises then I hope Alistair held out for royalties from future production from L.A. GMI has shown the kind of cash flow that is possible from that deposit.
