For better or worse, my timeline is still until the end of December, where I can still sell to take my capital loss.   I too have been in this stock for 2 years;  my opinion is that if I see no visible progress on ANY front by the end of December, then there probably never will be.

Yes, I have read the Kevin posts, and have no doubt about the POTENTIAL goods that SA has.   But they do no one any good remaining in the ground for who knows how long.   I stated long ago that for whatever reason, SA has not worked the political situation well.   I am sure that Hamish Campbell has done everything within his power to get things going, but as I stated in a post several months ago (and Bonaparte agreed with me), it appears that SA needed about FIVE or TEN Hamish Campbells to get things accomplished. 

Yes, I realize that there are "cultural issues" about how business is done there to contend with.   But Indonesian government officials and SA executives need to understand that investors have many options for making money and not an infinite amount of patience.   At some point, anyone will eventually walk.
