Retirement

RetirementWhen I retired in Jan 08, after 27 years as a broker, gold was around $830.  Merrex thought that they might be on to something in Mali and MXI was trading at .65
I almost postpone retirement because I had a huge amount of MXI on the books and thought it might be fun to go out in a blaze of glory, if and when, MXI actually found something in West Africa.  I am glad I did not wait.
Almost two years later it is confirmed that MXI has found something major in Mali.  Gold is at $1060 and MXI stock is cut in half to .30 measly cents.  I am so glad that I am not answering calls from puzzled clients as to why all this is.  I, frankly, don't have a clue.
