Going straight to DVD...not in theaters....the remake of the classic The Pride and the Passion(original starred Frankie Sinatra and Sofia,va va voom, Loren. This (extremely) low budget classic will  pit the current day Don Quixote and Pancho Sanchez (similar to Men of La Mancha) in their epic struggle  against Turkish windmills combined with Frankie and Sofia's trek up the Spanish mountains, carrying not the huge cannon, BUT a rusty drilling rig!  This mini-extravaganza will begin as soon as Pete and Doug decide who will wear the wig and corsett and who will play the puffy-shirted rebel, intent on freeing the gold flecs from the dasturdly terrain.  Siskel and Ebert give it a "eh" and a "so-so".
