FEL’s principal asset is a 70% interest in the GSEC101 offshore license located to the north west of the Philippine island of Palawan. The area is approximately 10,360 square kilometers and contains the Sampaguita gas discovery, which has expected gas in place of 3.4 trillion cubic feet (TCF) and potential upside to 20 TCF. The Company also has an investment in a gold exploration project in the Philippines.

RE: Are we about to finally take off then?i think we will have finally some information on gold JV in the next months but surely more in 2010 than in the current quarter.

as far as the main asset of fecof is concerned ie the stake in FEP, i think the only solution would be that chinese companies would step in the project (and maybe also a vietnamese company).

otherwise fep will never have their SC neither this year neither the next ones.

what would be the conditions, i do not know but there could be some big dilutions for FEP but that would be better than no SC at all

the other point is that some rumours took place a few weeks ago with chinese companies but chinese are very very patient and coild wait several more quarters or years before signing anything...
