RE: RE: RE: BLUE IN THE FACE
RE: RE: RE: BLUE IN THE FACEWe don't need to punt Peter.
Keep in mind that this opportunity was created at MNR from nothing.
The company got reorganized from the old Manhattan days which thank God I wasn't around for.
Then the turkey play was created, yes, by Peter and co.
They've raised SIGNIFICANT capital to get this where it is today, and astutely raised 38 cent money prior to the meltdown of 2008.
It's really easy to say "punt" the big guy when you're frustrated but the truth is...Peter has got us the opportunity that exists today.
PERIOD
So stop whining and support the leader.
He bought stock.
The board knows of investor frustration, and I'm sure Strathy who owns alot more shares than likely anyone on this board, is well aware that the stock is at 12 cents and wants a return on his money.
My guess is...the turks have bought stock in this last week...and are positioning for the closure of the JV and will make alot of money on this deal.
A $30/oz valuation JUST on the 1.5 mill oz pit, would give us a 50 cent share price.
At $60 we're at 1.00.
...and then there is serious upside as we drill and make more.
This is a huge play.
From what I understand it is likely that the turks will have to move quick to do a deal or risk losing the JV play to some north american entity interested in doing this deal.
The Toronto trip I'm sure was more than just talking to a bunch of analysts. It was likely about finding a north american partner.
At worst, it will create some competition for the JV, a much needed requirement to get some timing quick going on this play.
I would agree that there are two heads to the coin. We need delivered results and we need to have a news/communication pipeline to get this out to drive share price.
A solid budget to get some analyst coverage and get a little more pizzazz into the website would help along with some guys like say crew communications to start phoning their phone list to get some eyes on this.
Those who sell now will be disapppointed imo. It's been very disappointing, the stock price that is.
I'm holding...because I think regardless of the promo...we'll get a deal here, and we'll be at 50 cents to a buck so fast.
Anytime in my life when I've seen a large spike in volume like we've seen in the last week, for the most part it signaled a "significant" event coming that would drive share price one way or the other.
I"m betting it's going higher. Much higher.
Cheers
