Unless I missunderstood the text, that USA company would get approval by January which means Medicago is out, at least in the USA.
Unless Medicago makes a move soon I do not see why the FDA would approve a company outside of their country when they have one at home already approved.
Look at Noveko, they are fighting a similar battle. They have a product already made with a proven technology including patents. The FDA as done nothing to accelerate their approval. Worse, a US company is now selling masks similar to Noveko's ones. They dont have the FDA stamp either but they are in the USA and that is what counts.
