Big mack – spoke to strathy and they really do not believe that spending money promoting the stock will have any effect on the share price.  Strathy actually thought the those people that subscribe to newsletters generally sell the stock after a 15-20% rise.  I am very surprised with this as to be honest strathy is only on the board because he is large shareholder.  We are flogging a dead horse on this one, mgmt would rather pay their CEO excessively than market the company.

 

Turkey deal making will be slow, as that’s how business gets done over there – how I can see this unfolding is in the event that they sign a JV with a local company the stock price will barely move north.  Which will be painful for all including mgmt – then they may (if we are lucky) have a light bulb moment and say “ you know what maybe the shareholders were right about that – you need to spend money to make money”

 

Dec 7^th date is key because Alamo is exchanging on the Turkish properties they just brought – according to the strathy investors will discover MNR after that date and start investing.  I for one am not so confident that investors will connect the dots to a company with zero promotional skills.  Hopefully I will have to eat my hat on the dec 8^th.
