RE: Somebody know why this hudge volume???My guess would be some TSX index fund is buying up SMF because it's now either included or to be included in the TSX composite index. That's the most likely scenario.
The other one is, of course, someone is accumulating to buy out SMF. This is every small retail investors' fantasy. Trust me, you have a better chance being struck by lightening than that happening.
But then again, people do get struck by lightening do they?
