Qara Dagh Block = 846 km2. (Vast 27%, Niko Resources 27%, Groundstar 6%, 3rd Party still to be assigned 20%, KRG 20%).
The block must simply have one of the largest anticlines around withsimilar oil seeps to GKPs shaikan, DNOs tawke and the Kirkuk fielditself, amongst others.
Qara Dagh has a 390 km2 anticline. (There are two further structures which makes this potentially mammoth in terms of oil).

Of interest Qara Dagh translates toBlack Mountain" - Groundstar. (Why they include that comment ? -possibly and likely that it relates to the oil by those that livethere).
This might potentially dwarf Hoils Miran West. Hoils 'Miran West' witha 2.3 - 4 billion bl in place discovery is an anticline of circa 130km2.

(This was pre seismic imo as the interview waslate 2008 as far as i can see).
The in place oil must be a lot, lot higher as these are RECOVERABLEestimates given - again look at the massive size of this one anticlineat 390 km2 compared to Hoils Miran West at 130 km2 - Simply huge !!.
