Also, if exercised, warrants can sometimes give you the option to purchase future warrants, usually at a higher price. They are designed this way when theirs potential for large price appreciation in more volatile stocks. I'm just speculating b/c I haven't look at them, but these are potential answers. Otherwise they would be foolish as you stated to not wait and instead should just purchase in the open market. Cheers
