RE: RE: RE: RE: Re: NUT BALL HERE.....

Macbeth I can't say you are totally out to lunch here, you might be on to something.

But I think though if a takeover was in the offing, in the near term at least, they would have put a different spin on the n/r; it will in hindsight look uncomfortably disingenuous if it turns out that Goodman didn’t leave because of these others commitments i.e. it might say he had other commitments but it wouldn’t actually say that no room time wise was THE reason.

That doesn’t mean of course that  the other board members even know about what Goodman’s plans are and it could be that Goodman thought “well, I do have this takeover issue coming down the pipe in a few weeks or months time so this is good timing and a good excuse now to get off and so that IF I go ahead with these POTENTIAL plans I will be well placed.”  It’s also possible that they are quoting from his letter of resignation and that Goodman did not approve the actual wording of the n/r.

Still, I think he just thinks ISA doesn’t need him at this point, his investment is in (reasonably) good hands at this point (given that basically its on auto pilot until approval anyway) and his time is better spent on companies Paladin has a 100% interest rather in one it has a 20% interest in.
