Rumours on the street

Rumours on the street
There is a rumour on the street that production has already resumed but the news release became jammed in the fax machine again. The luck these guys have. Rumours say that a technical team is on scene assessing the situation at this time. That's all we know for now but there was another surprise at the Candax office.

John Clarke made a surprise appearance to try and boost the morale of his team on this their last day on the job. Apparently he managed to charge the private charter on the company credit card and was lucky they didn't notice the card was no good until he was airborne. Atta boy John.

Anyway he assembled his team for a farewell speech and he could be overheard telling them that "they should leave this office with their heads held high and arm themselves with the knowledge that they did their very best so not to be ashamed in any way".

As far as finding suitable employment for everyone he had some advice for the troops too: "Even a blind chicken can find a kernel of corn once in a while" and "even a broken clock is right twice a day". He told the troops there was deep meaning in his message and they should realize that even though the probability of their success is slim, there is always a chance, however remote.

He went on to remind them that if they would have just had a few more chances at Candax he felt confident they would have completed at least one of their projects successfully. Things just didn't quite go according to plan he said.

It was about that time, right in the middle of John's speech, that all the power went out in the building. Apparently the electricity had been disconnected for non-payment of the bill.

That was all we could get because mass hysteria set in, as, I guess the Candax team was somehow spooked by the dark and they were last seen stampeding off into the sunset. The last we heard from John as he fled the scene was "look the team stayed together - hey you guys watch out for that cliff in front of you".

Sadly the team didn't hear the warning from their commander and were never seen again.

Thanks for that update John.

OK that little blurb should have shaken off the trolls.

Provided the deal is announced prior to tomorrow's open we gap to a 2 handle.

That's my call.

As soon as they fax out the news release jammed in the fax machine we gap again.

Just my opinion.

My position is full, my confidence unshaken and I stand firmly committed to Candax

Still swinging for the fences.

Run baby Run!
