Halliburton is reacting to Schlumberger massive merger.

Logically, HAL had to do something.
Logically, that stratetgy would be to integrate niche players that would add value to the rest of Halliburton product.
Boots & Coots was that kind of move.


Now we can speculate that HAL would buy small size firm with niche market.
