"Investing is another name for gambling"
If you believe that YOU are the one who should absolutely not have any money in the stock market.

I have run into more people who think investing is equivalent to gambling yet are in the market and it's somewhat scary.  I guess they are the people who present buying opportunities because they are unable to analyze if a stock is overpriced or underpriced.

For example with Athabasca - seeing as it's their forum :) The trading action on this stock has nothing to do with the fundamentals of the company.  If it wasn't for the #$%#$^ hedge funds and some nervous holders of cheap stock who sweated it out during the past two years of market madness just wanting to liquidate an asset, the stock price wouldn't have fallen.  Now as typical in the market there has been an overreaction.  This time to the downside.  The company has great assets wonderful management and due to the IPO a nice chunk of money in the bank.  Stock price won't remain down here for long IMO.
