The Sarquala 1 well was cased as was  Kurdamir 1  down to the 2700 meter level. The casing is a limiting factor.You can not test until after it is cased. So both holes had casing, however when you have well control issues you need to control the pressure with the right mud mixture and weight. The drill chosen for the site would have been planned for the depth targetted, knowing that they have already encountered high pressures in this region. Are you suggesting that the management of WZR( who have considerable experience) made a mistake in judgement on the rig. Further are you suggesting that Talisman stood blindly by not saying a word. I would say the real problem hear is they are in elephant country and they are into some very productive ground. Along with that enviable position comes challenges such as high pressures and well control issues.

By the way you can throw in a few sugar coated comments about the company but as far as I am concerned you are just another of Good40's alias's.
