RE: RE: missed the call, updates??

RE: RE: missed the call, updates??

I tried typing as I was listening last night...

Closed 6 weeks ago, lots of progress on integration, this week cutting over their accounting system to tzts…so they will have fully integrated accounting.  Move into a new facility this Friday (smaller and more efficient..done by the weekend). Able to solidify marketing and R&D team.  New products will be introduced in coming quarters.  Experiencing tremendous uptake on pico basestations.. acquisition going very well but work still needs to be done for it to be successful.

Canaccord began coverage, now have very extensive report blah blah blah. With this platform of this report be able to build on it.  Couple of things about report – q3 10 million equity race – this was put in because they are in discussions with a lender to provide credit facility for 10 million..to be in place over next 30 days or so.  Next thing Indonesia ..very very large market with many operator. PT Telcom has installed base stations in 5 states and have now left the testing and certification phase and last week went live with the system..this is very good news as carriers this size wont go live until everything is perfect.  Telcom should soon announce worldwide rollout for commercial nad residential – expect this announcement to come out this month as well as drawwdowns and good deployments coming forward.

Tzt also decided that in the next few months that tzt will open a sales and support office in Indonesia (Jakarta) to put some sales support people on the ground full time to support the trg and efforts of carriers in real time. Next market they want to tlak about is INDIA… tzt/aperto have worked very hard in india, they have seen a transition from waiting to deploying…carriers are announcing that the new sspectrum being auctioned off is too expensive to just carry data, and the existing 3.3 spectrum and restricted band of 5.8 will be used for data…. To that end , tzt has a distributer in india ready and are expecting to ship pico basestations this month.  Operater/isp in india that has an extensive network installed is Metamax (based on aperto) and they are expanding at a very good pace.  Other areas theyre working hard on are the Tier one operators in india, they have been engaged with one of the tier one operators for quite some time, but the yare at the closing stages of their first deployment contract with one of the tier 1 providers in india..shipment could start next month (first tzt /aperto team effort).  In USA, they have seen that their wifi business has pretty well stayed fairly steady, they have just introduced a new low cost CPE to compete against low end market and they see a great uptake on that (60$ for product lol wtf).  Trying to regain market they used to own.

The stimulus money for wireless/broadband expansion…what has happened is that the first awards have been to planning/fiber/dsl services so broadband wireless will come later..the first dollars to flow from that will come late in q3 and q4.  There have been wins by certain areas that have won the money but not received the money and they have deisnged aperto’s solution in their rollout (sometime in q3).  They have shipped their first smartgrid project with lucent/alcatel to a large power company – this is very very significant in that they have won with lucent/alcatel a smartgrid deployment.. they have shipped the first phase of this and they are engaged in other power company opportunities with lucent..this smartgrid deployment will be very significant this year.  Huge sign of aperto/tzt team pulling together and coming up with a solution that met the needs of power companies as well as lucent/alcatel.  Other area of us they are being very active on = oil/comm..  working in the gulf and have gone through a lot of testing, everything has gone very well and they are one of the finalists in the deployment contest..and they have the specialized frequency required for this so it is looking very positive.  These are new frequencies but because of tzt’s activity around the world they are already ready for this.  One more comment about stimulus money..some of the isp’s that were expecting stimulus money they are seeing that the paper work and time delays are costing them money so they are starting to upgrade networks without stimulus money.

Next area CHINA – china is a relatively new country for tzt.  In sept they hired a specialist for china (ex Nortel sales person based out of Beijing), also aperto has a sales person in china..they are working together nad have a number of good opportunities and have won a very major opportunity.  Sinopec have selected aperto for their backhaul (major oil producer..MAJOR). once all tests are approved expect consistant expansion of network.  Also test deployents with numerous large operators in china..these are operators that want to supply hotspot access around their towers (larrrge opportunity.. 500k towers for one operator alone…1 hotspot per tower HUGE ..they are using backhauls and access layers right now for testing).

Malaysa is a country where aperto has bee nactive for some time. Aperto have installed a wimax network for the state of supura, fairly extensive network that has been fully commissioned.

Kuwait – another area where aperto has been active...  An opportunity came up and tzt  won and have already deployed the first major shipment which left doors last week (with fast telecom).  Aperto is a major player in oil and gas industry.

Aperto has been selected to supply the longest pipeline in Russia. Shipping will start this month.  Very substantial network to be deployed.

Other markets they are very active in : spain (nostracom..nationwide deployment ready..aperto is basestation partner), Mexico

New products:

Q3 wil lbe laucnhign a full mobile wimax 16e solution, a solution that aperto has been working on for a number of years... product will alow us to sell into Africa and areas that have only approved mobil wimax.
