NextFinding the quartz veins in wide widths of stockwork veins at a historicmine site should be a plus one would think. It is clear that findingthe oreshoots in 45 miles of veins/faults at Mogollonwill be the challenge. The district has featured robust oreshoots wherelocated. Veins and therefore the undiscovered oreshoots at Mogollonare not readily apparent in the faults at the surface, makingexploration that much more challenging. Once blind veins are found atdepth they may be sub-economic.
Really, the drilling on Ida Maywas widely spaced, over 2.4 km. That's the way with scout drilling, youhope to get lucky but certainly the rock will contain lessons and cluesabout where to look next.
They will now drill to increase thesize of the 1980's calculated, non-compliant resource of 15.7 million ozsilver and 0.327 million oz gold located on the Queen Vein. Permitsshould allow this driiling to start in August according to CSC.
Somethings are known about how to find oreshoots in veins generally. Mostimportant task in this hunt IMO is to learn about the localassociations between veins and oreshoots. Look for clues to thecontrolling factors on formation, shape, geochemistry, correlatedalteration minerals, wall rock alteration associated with oreshootformation, etc and then apply the lessons to locating the hiddenoreshoots.
As drilling progresses I would expect Cordex to belooking for and analyzing these patterns and associations to see ifMogollon oreshoots (zones of maximum permeability/deposition withinveins) can be found by identifying a common thread leading to theirdiscovery.
Not investment advice. I am long on CSC, 45 miles ofveins requires a hunt that takes time. DYODD.
