RE: Equal Energy (t.equ) is up 10% as well........Certainly looks like the market is liking both these stocks.  When you look at SP figures for the last month there are some interesting comparisons.
Both companies hit their 'recent' closing  highs on June 15th.
EQU = $7.41  and BXE = $3.39
Both bottomed out within a day of each other with closing lows -
EQU = $5.12  and BXE = $2.99 (July 6th and July 5th respectively).
As can be seen BXE so far has fared much better, not dropping by nearly as much, and recovering to within 3% of the June 15th high of $3.39 
- whereas EQU remains about 15% below its June 15th high of $7.41
By no means did all energy stocks enjoy the same ride - some such as ARN (a good company) - actually declined (by over 3%)
It will be interesting to see who is in favour - or not - next week.
