Tug of WarThese last two weeks before the announcement will be interesting. I for one have faith in this drug and have no plans to put in a stop. I will hold onto my shares however this plays. We've been following this drug for a very long time. There is nothing of a red flag nature that concerns us or the research community. It there was we would have read about it. The likelihood that this drug will be not be endorsed for scientific reasons is close to zero. Unfortunately most investors do not follow or understand the science. The silly postings by ISALOSER and Teevee exploit this sort of ignorance.
Will voclosporin receive approval on Aug 3? I do not know. It's possible. The advisory committee is advisory - the FDA is not bound by its recommendations or in this case its failure to even meet. It is more likely that the drug approval will be delayed for several months pending the resolution of manufacturing, quality control and distribution issues.
