r3npxBoss, Blizzard and VAE

r3npxBoss, Blizzard and VAEYou speak for a lot of us.  I can understand intellectually why the company has ended up where it is....we all took a risk, a big one...and temporarily at least...are on the losing end.   When politics and private enterprise get at odds with each other the outcome, again at least in the short term (being the memory of Jack and Jill Voter between elections) is predictable.  The government doesn't have to "push" companies around, the simply have to "lean" on them long enough. They obfuscate the issue with BS and baffle-gab...not withstanding the obvious need for alternate power sources in the future and for the same reasons that when they finally get around to building a highway or some other infrastructure it is either too small or outdated because they think in 3 year bites.  We need another "'Waky Bennett" that has some foresight and the "cojones" to push ahead with the Blizzard project.

I am really disappointed in Obama because he too is not facing the issue of power requirments for the future.  I think he doesn't have the guts to face the coal lobby for fear of the unemployment it would cost.  If there is a benefit from the Gulf oil disaster, it may be that he is forced to rethink the  nuclear energy strategy

Meanwhile, to your point about the lack of communication from our company, how difficult is it to have a news release even if it is to tell us there is no news.  How much are legal fees and other expenses costing us each month and we get nothing, absolutely nothing for it to keep our interest.  It is high-handed at best and disgusting indifference at worst.  I am surprised Ron Netolysky has had nothing to say because he has a reputation and a following and I would think this would concern him.

As for the court case....I think 2 of several  possibilities...If Carol James looks like she might get in (a very long shot) Campbell might recind the moratorium and leave her to hold the political bag or there will be a quiet courthouse-step settlement and the only winners will be the lawyers,,who knows...whatever we will probably be the last to know
