I officially retract the kid glove statement, as I note that your recent post (simultaneous as mine) was a far more accurate treatment of a racist and a bigot.  I would like to believe that some form of humanity might bubble to the surface here and that forgoing an apology, john would at least cease and desist in spewing his racism.  I feel very certain that all readers here, whether or not they participate in the discussion, do not condone his actions.  Unfortunately, I also believe that many individuals might not catch some of the innuendoes as he is very sly in his placement of those innuendoes.  Stockhouse is very liberal in allowing individuals to say what they wish as has been very evident in the years of mudslinging that has occurred here, however, rest assured that stockhouse will not tolerate john's behaviour - that I can guarantee you.

As far as surething is concerned, I too feel relatively comfortable that he does not support bigotry.  However, having said that, I do feel uncomfortable in that  (perhaps?) he feels that advocating a fellow investor supersedes racism and bigotry.  If my friend (who is also a fellow investor in LBE) came here and spouted what john did, I would be taking my friend out behind the woodshed and kicking the s*&t out of him.  My friend would be back here within the hour apologizing profusely.  In the  agoracom fiasco, Surething focused on attacking the message, not the messenger.  Normally, I would agree, however, this is an instance that is similar to dealing with child sex offenders.  Its a pervasive disease.  In this case, both the message and the messenger need to stomped out in my opinion.  It is my hope that surething believes that it might be the "bankers" that helped cause the global meltdown and not "jewish bankers" as john espoused.

I did google his alias, and was alarmed at the results.  It sickens me!  I am thoroughly nauseated.
