RE: RE: Bold but risky move ...

RE: RE: Bold but risky move ...HM, its an interesting concept and as predictor said it would be new, however it just wont happen under Ryders watch unless its all he has left in his armoury

releasing a statistically unrepresentative sample or valuation is just not JR's modus operandi.... and imagine the fallout if the small parcel was low balled by the guys in Antwerp or wherever due to the fact that they had to err on the side of caution given the statistically insignificant quantity of diamonds in question.

a better option might be to pay for a large diameter drill core to take out a big tonnage sample out of a hotspot to be assayed in a lab

mid case scenario this sample would underpin what we already know about the grade
best case scenario the big drill might bring back some +1 carat stones

worst case scneario a 'miss' on the large rocks would cast fresh doubts on whether any biggies exist in leadbetter.... but we could easily ascribe the 'miss' to statistical probability given the fact that we are dealing with 566m tonnes

If we were to take a risk I would be in favour of the drill rather than the valuation
