RE: RE: Globex moves into Goldboro areaThe structures of the Isaac's Harbour district are similar to those of the Upper Seal Harbour district, Goldboro Property, but historically are different in nature. While the USH tended to be large tonnage low grade, the IH district has been mainly exploited as a narrow vein high grade system. The only modern exploration in this district was carried out in the early 80s in the southern part and around the North Star mine in 1998 by Indocan Resources and the then mineral lease holder Doug Boddy.
As for why Orex has not optioned these areas, I do not know. I am aware that the idea has been put forward to amalgamate the known deposits in the area by several individuals, including myself, but it has not been acted upon. I honestly feel it would be more advantageous to acquire tactical targets than carpet bomb everything on a regional level as is now being done, but that's my opinion only. Most if the holdings in the IH district are broken up into small claim blocks and it would be a royal pain to get all the lease holders to agree to a set value for their properties to make an amalgamated property holding that would be worthwhile exploring and potentially exploiting. I'm going to put my feelers out to see if this is Globex's plan or if they are just speculating and riding the Orex/ Osisko coattails.
Cheers
