RE: RE: GENCO alone 500mio

RE: RE: GENCO alone 500mioOne more, on behalf of the laymen amongst us:

It's easy to get excited about SLX's ounces and potential ounces in the ground, but what about the grades and the cash cost per ounce?

I am not under any illusion that SLX is as optimal as say MAG in this regard, but how does it compare with the likes of Fortuna, First Majestic, Great Panther?  Fortuna, for instance, only has to spend $55m to get their new mine into operation. It will be a bit more than that for SLX..

I suppose at radically higher silver prices, things which seem important now in terms of the difference between profit and break-even will seem more marginal.

Grateful for any views.

I do like the story here - a high potential asset hitherto frozen because of bad management which has now been replaced by experienced, ambitious and hopefully competent hands.
