RE: nortel bid and trialI agree with some of the points made. foremost is that once the patents are acquired, there is a considerable amount of work going to go to monetizing them and this is where WIN comes in.
I still feel though that they will likely partner with someone and you already know whom I believe that is. The partnership would be a 50/50 basis with WIN contributing some funds plus its monetizing ability to the partnership.
I have said before that even though the purchase price of the patent baskets that Nortel has and that WIN is interested in could have a purchase price of 200-300 mill, but WIN's ability to monetize the patents into actual dollars would be 10X or more that number.
If it happens, it would be very very large for this Co. Even moreso than a victory in Marshall.
