Who knowsWhat we know:
Oil prices are higher than expected.
Upgrader and technology work as advertised.
Ramp up has been very slow and plagued with assorted misfortunes.
Debt is massive.
Strategic transaction has been deemed the only logical conclusion and efforts have been ongoing for over 12 months.
Industry and market perception of Opti is extremely negative
Opti is negotiating from a position of weakness

What we don't know:
The main reason for the recent sell off and tanking of share price.
     Potential buyer and or MM manip.....ting stock?
     Tax loss selling?
      Major holders fed up with management, lack of credibility and trust.?
      Belief and or knowledge by some investors that a successful outcome benefiting shareholders is not going to ocurr.
Is the quality of the resevoir inferior in comparison to other SAGD operations? 

Until we know the full story it is difficult to predict what the final outcome will be.
