A NXY buyout would cost several billion dollars more than buying OPC's 35% long lake interest (plus debt) and the Cottonwood assets etc.  Only a major or sovereign wealth fund has that kind of money.

The better play is to buy OPC entirely, plus its assets.  I think that OPC will follow the UTS model and sell its leases at this time.  It then has the money to ramp-up long lake, and be in the game to participate in the long lake expansion.

I think I will buy more OPC tomorrow - but I think if markets are down tomorrow, it could dip to $1.99 briefly.
