Posted by Attorney30 : 4/7/2010 7:50:36 AMRemember, a higher Canadian $ lowers total long term debt (i.e. about 2.2 billion) and the annual interest payments (i.e. 170 million) to cover those senior notes maturing in 2014 that OPC must pay - the debt is U.S. dollar denominated.  

I don't think OPC dips below the $2 level again, there are 2 production updates coming.  April and July of 2010.  Each of which is a catalyst for OPC share growth.

I was very conservative on the valuations on this stock, but I now believe it's take-over value will open around the $3-4 level in July, but its real intrinsic value (i.e. for 40 year production growth from long lake phases I, II etc., Cottonwood, Leismer etc.) is probably around $20-$40.
