Posted by Attorney30 : 8/11/2010 4:18:39 PMToday was the day to buy OPC at $1.11 and i did - over and over and over.  This share price is compelling value - the stock was panic stricken oversold - on a market panic stricken day - almost pricing in no production increases over the next 2 quarters and an impending insolvency - which won't happen as evidenced by the borrowing of $400 million to ensure they can endure the 'strategic review' process.

Nothing changed from a day ago - the share price is so low it may attract new investor and new acquisitional attention.  There are a lot of assets and reserves for sale with OPC.  OPC will soon be operating field break even (which will be a positive news event) and Q3 production and operational results for Q3 on October 28th should indicate a production band of about 33 - 000 -  35,000 bpd and target guidance of 40,000 bpd by December 2010.  This is a stock with a future... what a great day it was today
