RE: Where's the Beef??dellrey6666,

I think your comment on waiting for the 2011 report is valid.

On December 7 the statement was made: "The Company plans to release more information on its strategic plan later this month"

Late December was a poor time to get PR impact from such an update, but that is not the point. At a time when minority shareholders are concerned over the departure of a respected CEO, the actions of a temporary or replacement CEO is under the microscope. Unless you are absolutely positive that the release will be forthcoming in December, why aggravate the concerns of shareholders by failing to meet the commitment?

I have not contacted LBE, and do not plan to do so - but I suggest that anyone that does contact the interim CEO, stress that people are waiting for information on the strategic plan - if he can't get it to them immediately, at least get out a statement that it has been delayed and can be expected before....(some achievable target date)

Supporters of this company are used to an attitude from their CEO that they are important, regardless of the size of their investment. I don't like the comments that I have heard from those phoning LBE - that the response to a shareholder's advice that he is a shareholder, is "how many shares?"  Individuals may have an insignificant holding in the big picture, but this is relative - and it may be very significant to him, and for that he deserves some respect. In most cases the share numbers will be a hell of a lot more than some of the insiders - so they should remember who put the initial money up to create their job!
