I agree 100% with everything you said. I've been trading stocks for over 10 years now and I have never voted on anything, I just assumed it was a waste of time, however I will be this time. Even if it doesn't matter at least I might feel better knowing I did something. I live here in Halifax and have observed for years how the city and province have put this company on a pedestal. I think there is a lot of potential for MIR, but only if we get rid of Chan once and for all, it can't get any worse with somenone else at the helm, therefore we have nothing to lose.
