RE: Looking at ALL aspects....

RE: Looking at ALL aspects....
Personally from what i read, see and believe, precious metals have a long ways to go. The US is under a staggering debt load (approx. 14 trillion) with staggering future obligations for medicare and social security (50 trillion by some estimates). They have borrowed more with a QE2 (can QE 3 be that far off ? and even if it didn't happen which i think it will, the debt is insurmountable in my lifetime for sure.). This is not even mentioning other European countries that are on the edge of default and Japan.  If i went to my bank and asked them to lend me a pile of money to try and pay my way out of my large loan you know what they are going to tell me. I know the comparison of the money is ridiculous but i think the basic principle is comparable.
These markets are not linear and if the chart did go like a hockey stick i think i would be selling off a big chunk of my investments . Silver and gold have corrected somewhere around 40 times and as much as 30% (these figures are only ballpark )  since 2001 and as soon as they do, pundits come out of the woodwork claiming the bubble is ready to pop only to see AU and AG regain it's legs and move ahead. With the reserve currency of the world on life support and all the instability in the present world the PM's to me are a nobrainer and i sleep a lot better with them in my portfolio.
As far as CGP goes , as everyone knows ,one or two good holes in Ecuador and we are flying, This is an exciting stock for me to be in right now. I am liking holding a strong core position with some trading stock for the bump ups along the way , but i think one morning i am going wake up this spring and there will be no catching this one unless you want to pay dear.
Just some sunday morning ramblings while waiting for next week and as always, JMO.....................
