RE: Takeover is inevitableIf results are very positive, as in strong immune response with little or no visible side effect profile, no one in there right mind would sell the farm for $2 share. They need to finish the rest of there trials before anything serious would happen. And that's a year or more away likely. There would be a vote, and I for one would go and vote in person for no buyout (again assuming all of the above is true). Another poster said Phillip Morris would be a little somewhat put off at being bought out for a song. Yes PM has a lot invested technologically and financially. They aren't there for the short haul. They want recurring income. So do I for that matter.... #8)
They would definitely be a killer company to buy, but only once there technology is close to being bullet proof. And at this point, it's the best sales guys who make it happen. NVAX or MDG or some other cell based or fermentation based viral bath massaging biotechs.
This is still all one big crap shoot. But MDG is on the big crap shoot table. So to speak.
